International Days

April 22nd - World Earth Day

Today, April 22nd, is the "International Day of the Earth." This day was established in 1970 in the United States and became global in the 90s. This year’s theme is "Investing in our Planet," with the goal of involving businesses in climate-friendly practices and investments.

The last U.N. report suggested a critical situation and the need to act immediately if we want to limit global warming. By 2030, 100 million people are threatened with severe poverty. Climate change is the cause of many natural disasters, triggering widespread disruption for households and businesses in many parts of the world.

Now more than ever, we need to remember the value of our planet and the importance of protecting it.

Climate change is a real issue and we need to push business and political institutions to take action.
