Solar Panels - US Industry Analysis

In the last 10 years, solar panels’ industry has boomed in the US. Think that the growth of the sector has amounted to 42% per year, on average. Such a rise was favored by strong federal policies, rapidly declining costs and increasing demand. Now, more than 200,000 Americans work in this sector.
Just to name a few data, in 2020 there were more than $25 billion of private investment. Not only, the price through years has quite halved, with a reduction of average price per residential system from 40,000$ to 20,000$.
Moreover, setup costs has dropped more than 70%, increasing demand and favoring expansion into new markets.
California has been the dominant country in the market for years, but other regions are continuing to expand rapidly, gaining an increasingly larger share of the national market.
Over the next 10 years, 348 GW will be installed, more than 3 times the amount installed through 2020.
Finally, research shows that big corporations like Apple, Amazon, Walmart, Target and Google are investing in solar energy at a great rate.
