The top exporters of plastic bottles and flasks in 2020 were China ($1.94 billion), Germany ($765 million), the United States ($696 million), France ($435 million), and the Netherlands ($390 million). United States ($1.42 billion), Germany ($744 million), France ($634 million), Canada ($516 million), and the United Kingdom ($400 million) were the top importers.
Between 2019 and 2020, the exports grew the fastest in China ($462 million), Canada ($58 million), Sweden ($29.2 million), Poland ($20.9 million), and Mexico ($18.6 million). The fastest-growing importers of Plastic bottles and flasks were United States ($206 million), Japan ($47 million), Singapore ($46.1 million), Vietnam ($38.6 million), and Malaysia ($36.7 million).
