As Ireland's economy continues to battle the COVID-19 pandemic, CRIFVision-net has released the 'Business Barometer: Annual Review 2021' highlighting the impact of the pandemic on the Irish economy over the past twelve months.
Statistics collated and analysed by CRIFVision-net paints a picture of the business environment in Ireland at the moment as well as what to expect going forward - with insights from both our Managing Director, Christine Cullen as well as our Regional UK & Ireland Director, Sara Costantini.
This year's report shows the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on company start-ups. It charts company closures and how despite the numerous lockdowns, a combination of initial court closures, debt moratoriums and government supports as well as a strong bounce of economic activity in Q3, has resulted in an overall reduction in corporate and personal insolvencies in 2020 even with continued uncertainty.
