Finland is the number 41 economy in the world in terms of GDP. In recent years, electronics and services increasingly dominated Finnish economy, as globalization lead to a decline of more traditional industries. Although to a limited extent compared to other EU countries, it is also suffering significant friction because of COVID - 19 pandemic. Indeed, the current second wave of infection is threatening to slow down the economic recovery, especially in exports, investments and private consumption areas.
